Featuring the Cherry Creek Dance

Join us for the grand season finale, "Song and Dance," where melodies and rhythms intertwine in perfect harmony. Under the direction of Maestro Lawrence Golan and the remarkable guest conductor Jesús Parra, winner of the 2023 DPO International Conducting Competition, we celebrate the perfect partnership of music and movement. The evening's crescendo includes Rossini's lively Overture to Il barbiere di Siviglia, Schubert's Symphony No. 8 "Unfinished," Strauss Jr.'s enchanting Kaiser-Walzer, and Copland's spirited Four Dance Episodes from Rodeo. Featuring the dynamic choreography of Cherry Creek Dance, this performance brings the stage to life with a symphony of movement. Just like peanut butter and jelly, french fries and ketchup, disco and sequins, song and dance come together in a harmonious fusion that will leave you exhilarated and moved.

Rossini: Overture to Il barbire di Seviglia (The Barber of Seville)

Schubert: Symphony No. 8 "Unfinished"

Strauss, Jr.: Kaiser-Walzer (Emperor Waltzes)

Copland: Four Dance Episodes from Rodeo
