*﻿FOR INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED DANCERS*J﻿anuary 7, 2023 (1-4PM)M﻿artin Hall at Boston Center for the Arts (Located on the 2nd floor of the Calderwood Pavilion)T﻿his workshop will introduce the basics of Ilya &amp; Jessi&#x27;s partnering technique, which combines dance with questions that challenge and enhance ethical interaction. This unique approach includes exercises that engage subtle elements of relational movement, including touch, proximity, shared weight, and mutual gaze. Dr. I﻿lya Vidrin and Jessi Stegall were recently featured in Dance Magazine&#x27;s &quot;25 to Watch&quot; for their research in partnering. The somatic partnering studies are a result of Vidrin&#x27;s 15 years of research in the theory and practice of partnering. Their shared work suggests that partnership is not an abstraction, but the embodiment of care performed repeatedly.*﻿masks required*
