Healing & Wellness

CTC is excited to announce the relaunch of Healing & Wellness, bringing accessible, affirming in-person and virtual wellness experiences to LGBTQ+ people throughout Chicago and Illinois.

Somatic Breathwork Immersion
A guided somatic breathwork experience designed to help folks move out of overthinking and back into the body. In a steady and grounded container, folks will be supported in regulating the nervous system, releasing stored emotion, and reconnecting with the body's innate intelligence. Three parts session includes: 1. Drop-Inward We begin with a short check-in to understand what folks are bringing into the space using grounding practices to settle into desires, breath, and body. 2. Guided Breathwork guiding folks through a rhythmic breathing practice that supports emotional release and nervous system regulation including 40 minutes of breathwork. 3. Integration We close with space to reflect, share, and anchor what emerged. About Faith (she/they): A somatic breathwork facilitator who creates safe, supportive spaces for people to reconnect with their mind, body, and spirit through the power of the breath, Faith views their role as not to heal, but to gently guide folks back to their own inner power and the natural intelligence of the body.
