The Foster Family Center for Engineering Service Learning is UC Merced's cornerstone experiential learning experience program. We offer the community free workshops and skill sessions on topics ranging from professional development to technical data analysis and microcontroller programming.

Engineering Service Learning

Free food is provided at every Engineering Service Learning Skill Session!
Engineering Service Learning in partnership with Blue Dolphin Engineering instructs students in the computer-aided design (CAD) program SOLIDWORKS. This three-part workshop introduces students to the SOLIDWORKS program and teaches them beginner, intermediate, and advanced skills. 
Topics include:

<LI>Assembly modeling and drawing using SolidWorks.</LI>
<LI>Producing a 3-D model</LI>
<LI>3-D printing at the PG&E Lab.</LI>
</UL>
