Where should I park?

Accepted Answer

Tour attendees will meet and park at the City of Raleigh's Wilders Grove Solid Waste Services facility at 630 Beacon Lake Drive. Attendees will be bussed over to the Sonoco Recycling facility at 111 S. Rogers Lane in Raleigh. At the tour's conclusion, attendees will be brought back to Wilders Grove.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Accepted Answer

Yes, attendees will be asked to sign a waiver before the presentation and tour begins.

Question 3

Do I need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Sonoco Recycling requires safety vests and glasses, hard hats, and hearing protection. These will be provided. Attendees must be wearing close-toed shoes and long pants to enter the facility.

Question 4

Is Sonoco accessible?

Accepted Answer

The facility does include steep steps and loud heavy machinery. If attendees have any mobility or audio limitations, a tour can be given via live cameras positioned throughout the facility.
