Cylburn Arboretum Friends is the 501(c)3 non-profit friends group of Baltimore City's Cylburn Arboretum, enriching and enhancing the arboretum and our community  in a variety of ways, and providing nature education programs for people of all ages.

Cylburn Arboretum Friends

It's been 99 years since the last coast-to-coast total eclipse. Come observe the solar eclipse with us on August 21. While Cylburn is not on the "path of totality", we'll still be able to observe a partial eclipse by making pinhole cameras and watching the moon's shadows cast by trees on the trails. 
For safety, we will have eclipse glasses available to all participants.

We will meet on the Mansion Porch from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21. 
Ages 7 and up. Limited space. Please RSVP.
$10.
Please be aware that this is a special occasion so we are making an exception to open the Arboretum on a Monday.
