The first total solar eclipse to travel across the entire contiguous United States since 1918 happens on Monday, August 21st and that gives 360 CHICAGO a reason to celebrate.  From 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. that day, celestial fans are invited to 360 CHICAGO Observation Deck’s Solar Eclipse Dance Party, where guests will enjoy unencumbered views of the sky and city below while the moon passes in front of the sun, eclipse-viewing glasses, and will be inspired to dance when Mode Events DJs rouse the crowd with a ‘space-themed’ music playlist.
The first 50 to reserve their spot get FREE access. UPDATE: Free tickets are all gone, but you can still purchase tickets here for $8 or at the door for $10.25 for adults, $6.75 for kids 3-11, or free for children under 3 years of age on the day of the event. Follow us @360chicago on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for ticket giveaways throughout the month. Guests will find cocktail specials and original recipes to toast the occasion.  Note: because the event happens on Monday, the only day of the week when tripods are allowed, expect lots of photographers to grab a prime spot early.
