SoL Presents: Lunch & Learn with Dr. Jennifer Carson - Dementia Friends

Join us Thursday, May 30th from 1pm-2:30pm as we welcome Dr. Jennifer Carson, Ph.D for Dementia friends, an interactive session that provides an overview of dementia, explores what it’s like to live with dementia, and discusses important communication strategies all community members can use to support and include people living with dementia. Dr. Carson is a critical gerontologist and the Founding Director of the Dementia Engagement, Education, and Research (DEER) Program in the School of Public Health at the University of Nevada, Reno.
