Software Programming & Cyber Security Summer Camp
SETU ( Carlow Campus) is running its popular Computing Summer Camp, supported by the HEA, from the 4th to the 5th of June 2026.
The camp will introduce a number of computing areas to participants in a fun and interactive way and provide them with a taste of studying computing in college. Students will learn how to:
- How to program games
- How to program a humanoid robot
- How to develop your web page
- Computer forensics to solve a crime
- A cyberattack simulation where students work to protect sensitive data and systems.
The summer camp is open to any secondary level student in Transition Year or above. There are, however, a limited number of places, so book early. The cost is €20 per student, which includes lunch each day.
