SETU School of Science — Carlow Campus

SETU ( Carlow Campus) is running its popular Computing Summer Camp, supported by the HEA, from the 4th to the 5th of June 2026.

South East Technological University

<p>The camp will introduce a number of computing areas to participants in a fun and interactive way and provide them with a taste of studying computing in college. Students will learn how to:</p><ul><li>How to program games</li><li>How to program a humanoid robot</li><li>How to develop your web page</li><li>Computer forensics to solve a crime</li><li>A cyberattack simulation where students work to protect sensitive data and systems.</li></ul><p>The summer camp is open to any secondary level student in Transition Year or above. There are, however, a limited number of places, so book early. The cost is €20 per student, which includes lunch each day.</p>
