When I'm not coding, I like to travel, play video games and football.🎙Talk 3: Róbert Selvek, Infrastructure Platform Engineer @Kiwi.comA Hybrid Approach to ObservabilityAs covered in other talks, Datadog can be expensive. Robo will talk about how Kiwi.com switched part of our observability to self-hosted LGTM stack and the pitfalls that waited on the way.👋About Róbert: Róbert is a Senior Platform Engineer at Kiwi.com, where he has been focusing on observability for a long time, from infrastructure level to cost tracking. He has been working in public clouds for almost 10 years, alternating between DevOps and infrastructure engineering roles with occasional back-end development roles. From the beginning, he worked in environments where it was necessary to closely monitor infrastructure costs. As a result, he has brought an interest in optimization and price visibility to all his positions, which he tries to convey to his colleagues and occasionally to random passers-by or pub attendees. 🍺 In addition to interesting topics for discussion, Outreach will also provide you with delicious snacks and drinks.
