Join us for Soft Layers 101, a two-day educational experience designed to help stylists master the art of creating soft, seamless layers with confidence and precision. Whether you're looking to refine your cutting technique or elevate your skills behind the chair, this class combines in-depth education with hands-on application.

Day 1 – Look & Learn

Saturday, September 13 | 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

Learn the foundation of soft layering through live demonstrations, theory, sectioning, elevation, blending, and finishing techniques. Watch every step of the process, gain valuable insight into the "why" behind each technique, and ask questions throughout the class to deepen your understanding.

Day 2 – Hands-On Workshop

Sunday, September 14 | 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

Put your knowledge into practice with guided instruction and personalized coaching. Work through the complete Soft Layers 101 haircut on your own mannequin (doll) head while receiving individual feedback on your sectioning, elevation, cutting, blending, and styling techniques to build confidence behind the chair.(doll-head provided)

Hands-On Workshop Requirements:

• Registration for the Look & Learn is required to attend the Hands-On Workshop.
• Each attendee must bring their own tri-pod stand for doll head, blowdryer, round brush, and scissors.

Important Information

Mannequin heads will be provided for all hands-on attendees. Attendees are responsible for bringing their own cutting shears, blow dryer, brushes, styling tools, and tripod. Hair cutting combs and sectioning clips will be provided during the class.

Hands-On seats are intentionally limited to ensure individualized attention and coaching throughout the workshop.
