EcoShip is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that collects shipping materials from Chicagoland communities and distributes them to businesses and individuals for reuse.
Volunteers will help sort donations of packaging materials at our space in West Town at 1947 W Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60622 between 6:00pm-7:00pm and afterwards, we will head on over to a local restaurant for social hour.
Arrival/Parking: There is free street parking on Damen, north of Chicago as well as on Wolcott Ave by Commercial Club Park. There is paid street parking on Chicago Ave. We are also located right off of Damen and Chicago if you are taking public transit.
If you can't make it to the volunteering part, join us afterwards for a social hour! We're just a group of folks who love making a change in our communities.
This event is 21+. We apologize for the incovenience. We encourage anyone under 21 to join us during our weekend volunteer events.
