Social Hike: Southern Vineyards

Come explore these vineyards and corn fields, one of Vienna's most underrated areas. After conveniently meeting up at Vienna Main Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof), we'll first cross through a trendy neighbourhood, leaving urban Vienna and then walk up to a point from where you can see, weather permitting, as far as to the Lower Carpathians. After getting lost in the nearby vineyards, we then venture further downhill until reaching a tree-lined creeks. Following the waves, we'll leave the official boundaries of Vienna and finally arrive at a small village. From there, a quick train ride will take us back to Vienna Main Station.

Underway we'll have some fun with social games, discussion prompts and local trivia.

Your host is an outward-thinking local who lived in three cultures on two continents. Fluent in 7½ languages, he visited more than 40 countries (incl. places like Port Harcourt or Pyongyang) and loves sharing off-beat travel stories. Ask him anything!
