Hi! Welcome to Our Weekly!
I am Sam Kelly and together we will learn how they can work towards more access and equity on and in social media and beyond. This is Social Accessible Media, where attendees are invited to literally center access in social media with “Accessible” being centered within “Social” “Media”.
This is not social media accessibility, not accessible social, not accessibility for social media—this is much more because only Social Accessible Media is fueled by decolonization, indigeneity, and intersectionality. You will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of how decolonization efforts, indigenous power, and intersectionality can transform online communities—social media and elsewhere—and offline communities.
Social Accessible Media will provide a tactical approach of accessibility and access for social media.
