About this event

Part yoga class, part recovery meeting! This weekly space is curated for people in recovery from addiction. A forty-five minute yoga practice is the heart of our time together, designed to be accessible for all levels of experience (including first-timers). This kind of yoga prioritizes mindful movement over athleticism, and supports participants as they establish and maintain internal attention and bodily awareness. After the practice, we hold time for optional sharing and recovery conversation.

This class is offered by a yoga teacher who is in longterm recovery from substances addiction and has extensive experience facilitating alternative recovery spaces.

Mats and other supportive props are available for use at no cost. Wear clothing that is comfortable and allows you to move freely. The suggested sliding-scale donation is $5 - 15, but nobody is turned away for lack of funds.
