Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated has always been at the forefront of social justice to promote fairness and equity. We stand in the gap to empower our communities and act in the best interests of all people through social advocacy and justice.Since 1949, the Epsilon Kappa Omega Chapter has equipped Milwaukee communities with the tools, knowledge, and support to activate their voices and mobilize self-help to empower communities to help themselves.

Join us for a powerful community event focused on parent advocacy, educational success, and empowering families to raise their voices on behalf of their children. <ul><li>Learn how to advocate effectively at the classroom level</li><li>Understand the roles of school staff, principals, and school board members</li><li>Get tips and tools to support your child’s success—from homework help to IEP meetings</li></ul> This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.Let’s build power together and ensure every child has a champion in their corner! Empower yourself to Speak, Organize, Advocate, and Represent Milwaukee.
