About this event

Looking to learn about saponification? Get together with your friends, family, or co-workers to get some hands on experience at the Salem Glen Winery. We'll create some goat milk soap together that you can take home while enjoying a glass of wine in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.

Make sure you wear clothes you are not afraid to get dirty, and please bring a bath towel with you.

MOST IMPORTANTLY - bring your own mold with you. You can buy a LARGE CAVITY MOLD at any Hobby Lobby or other craft store as shown in the picture below.

Mini reiki sessions, gluten free baking classes, wet and needle felting, basic homesteading skills, and more will also be hosted at this location.  Creating community and blending handmade group activities seems like a natural fit for the events and retreats location; look for local artisan names to be instructing these classes.
