Soap-Making Workshop by Flying Ears Ranch
Make your own cold-processed soap. Led by the craft soap-makers at Flying Ears Ranch, you'll learn the tools and techniques of this traditional soap making style, the science behind the soap, how to safely handle lye, and how to mix your own blend of essential oils and colors. Each participant will take home their own personalized soap after it's finished curing. (This takes 3-4 weeks.)
A note of caution: A caustic substance, lye, is used in this process. Gloves will be provided. Wear clothes that you can get dirty. Youth participants must be age 13 and up.
