About Babes that Brunch
Hosted by Aspen’s DJ, Romy Ancona, our new Comedy Brunch will leave you laughing, and of course enjoying and celebrating our female comedians featuring Reem Edan, Julie Gillespie and Sarah Sanders.
About Reem Edan
Reem Edan is an Iraqi-American comedian, content creator, award-winning writer and actress based in Los Angeles. Her performances have captivated audiences globally, performing in nine countries across four continents, while amassing tens of millions of views online for her character-driven sketches and culture -bending commentary.
About Romy Ancona
Live music will be performed by Ancona, one of The Collective’s resident DJs, who is a self-taught musician making his way through Aspen and Snowmass, plus the Hollywood, South Bay and Las Vegas club circuits as an electronic music producer and performer.
About Julie Gillespie
Roaring Fork Valley local Julie Gillespie palced second at the Aspen Laugh Festival Comedy Competition and has been a top performer at the Colorado Comedy Competition in Snowmass Base Village. Her larger-than-life personality is demonstrated on stage with funny anecdotes, physical humor and wit. She checks in at only five foot two but packs a comedic punch and her awkward yet creative content highlight the funny parts of life.
About Sarah Sanders
Sarah stepped into the comedy scene after a wild, bizarre, you-can't-make-this-up dating event during COVID. Pulling from real life experiences and leaving no details left unturned, Sarah keeps audiences entertained and wondering what's next. She is a Roaring Fork Valley local and spends her time as the Director of Fun in Snowmass putting on a variety of events across the plaza and multiple venues. After creating the Snowmass Live Comedy Series, she decided to give stand-up a shot. There was no suprise that was a top competitor in the Colorado Comedy Competition and has since participated in many comedy shows in the valley and beyond.
