A day spent with the pigs is ALWAYS a good day! Visit the Enchanted Pig Forest through any of our many wonderful events!

Just east of 'weird,' join some ATX-based musicians for concerts for the pigs (and humans!). *Please be sure to read this description AND the confirmation email FULLY before your visit.*Join us for an afternoon of music...for pigs and people! Pigs are such thoughtful and emotional beings and they're known to love music just as we do, so we wanted to make sure they can enjoy the Austin tradition of festivals &amp; music with the rest of us!Our incredible performers will be playing sets of pig-friendly tunes to see what they enjoy most of all. You'll be able to explore the neighborhoods, enjoy our generous entertainers in the lovely setting of Central Texas Pig Rescue's Enchanted Pig Forest, and of course snuggle with pigs, donkeys, and cats (maybe the goats...if they're up for it). And, you'll be able to meet our incredible team to learn the stories of triumph and resilliance of our residents and organization.Event Timeline:<ul><li>Gates open at 10:45AM-11:20AM</li><li>We will not be able to accommodate arrivals past 11:20, so please be prompt! All ticket sales support our care for the animals, and we are grateful for the generosity of our musicians for donating their time and talent!<h4>Parking is included in the ticket price, but due to limited parking areas, please carpool if attending with multiple people!</h4>Approx location. Our address will be sent in your confirmation email. We are in Smithville (about 10 min further from the Bastrop Home Depot if driving from Austin).ATTIRE:Please be prepared to get dirty and for clothing rips or tears to happen! We have lots of muddy snouts that will want to give you kisses (as well as lots of poop everywhere!) That means come prepared wearing proper footwear (boots are recommended), clothes that are appropriate for our fickle Texas climate, and work gloves.Additional rules:<ul><li>Out of respect for the animals, CTPR does not permit any animal-based food products on site. Thank you for understanding!</li><li>This is a smoke-free property.</li><li>Please do your best to avoid single-use plastic on site as it can be dangerous to our residents and the wildlife.</li><li>Due to the excitement that snacks inspire in our residents, we ask that you do not bring any snacks for them. Even small pigs can be quite strong when there's a tasty treat involved!</li><li>Children are always welcome on site, and the pigs are often delighted to meet them! We recommend you have some animal-etiquette talks ahead of your visit.</li><li>Personal fur babies are not allowed on site. Pigs and dogs are not compatible animals, and our donkeys don't take kindly to dogs based on their instincts to protect against coyotes.</li></ul>
