On Saturday, October 18 (12:30-3pm), we’ll host a ribbon cutting for the new 4th Street playground, followed by a behind-the-scenes community preview of the new Ralph Wilson Park while it’s still under construction. Be among the first to walk on Buffalo’s new bridge – the Ralph Wilson Park bridge that spans the I-190- and check out the park in progress!
DETAILS:
12:30 pm – Ribbon-cutting for Buffalo’s newest playground, designed and built by the community in partnership with KABOOM!
1:00 – 3:00 pm – Sneak peek of the construction in the park from the Ralph Wilson Park bridge!
LOCATION:
450 4th Street, Buffalo, NY
On street parking is available. There will also be a shuttle running from the Front Park parking lot, off Porter Ave on Lakeview.

- Britesmith Brewing Food Truck will be on-site with food for purchase.
- For two hours only – the community will be able to access the 4th Street side of the park through the gate at 4th & Pennsylvania and walk up a gentle slope to the Ralph Wilson Park bridge. No one will be enter the lake-side of the park. Expect uneven terrain. Please wear sneakers or boots!
