Smita Russell is a performer, writer and photographer. She began storytelling in 2023 and found unexpected joy and success in sharing on the stage. Before settling down in New York, Smita lived on six continents and spent long stretches sailing the high seas, despite crippling motion sickness. Professionally, she advises media moguls, CEOs, Oscar winners and G.O.A.T.s on all matters of education. This is her first solo show.

Jacqueline Loewen is a Canadian theatre maker and founding member of the physical sketch group Hot Thespian Action, which has been nominated for multiple Canadian Comedy Awards. She has worked extensively as a fight and movement choreographer on stages across Canada, won two Winnipeg Theatre Awards for outstanding choreography, taught “Live Art Making” at Arts Letters and Numbers in New York, and created and directed several experimental physical theatre pieces — notably In Time (Theatre Projects Manitoba) and La Belle Laide (nominated for Harry S. Rintoul award). She is grateful that these experiences have led to helping Smita birth this beautiful piece.
