SMES Spirit Rock Guidelines
• Reservations MUST BE made online through the EventBrite site.
• No phone calls or emails should be made to the school front office for reservation purposes.
• The cost for reserving the rock for 24 hours is $10 and there are no refunds (this is a fundraiser!)
• One person per day may reserve the SMES Spirit Rock.
• A parent or teacher can reserve a day through EventBrite on behalf of a student or student group.
• Once you make and pay for your reservation, your time begins at 5pm the evening before your date. (For example, if your reservation is for August 20th, your 24 hours will start at 5pm on August 19th and end at 5pm on August 20th.) ***The 12am-5pm reservation time is for website purposes only! You can decorate the rock starting at 5pm the evening before your reservation date***
• Paint and painting supplies are not provided by the school or the PTA.
• The area around the rock must be left paint-free and tidy. If not, we reserve the right to restrict you from making another reservation in the future.
• All rules in the SMES Student Handbook apply to the messages and/or pictures painted on the rock. (NO bullying, profanity, obscenities, or derogatory language/pictures)
• We reserve the right to paint over anything that is deemed inappropriate and money WILL NOT BE REFUNDED! You will also be restricted from making another reservation in the future.
• Please put your reservation date on your calendar and/or set an alarm...The school and the PTA will NOT be sending out reminders for reservations.
• Rules and guidelines are subject to change without notice.

What is the refund policy? There are no refunds. If the school is closed due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances on the date of your reservation, the PTA can issue a "rain check" reservation for a future date if one is available.
