Date and time
Location
Online event
Description
We are inviting developers to write applications that solve some of the biggest problems with urbanization - namely waste management, water management and parking. We are looking for innovations that improve the quality of urban services; reduce the cost of providing these services and help improve the quality of life of citizens.
You will develop your application on servers provided by us. We will also provide simulators for the sensors and other conditions. You will be provided complete documentation for on-boarding on the servers and the simulators.

Q5. Do I have to develop in a particular language?
No. There are no restrictions on laguage or platform. We require that the developed application be original and it needs to be developed by you (including any members in your group). You will include an attestation to this effect when you submit your project.
Q6. When can I get more information on the simulation platform and the deployment platform?
We are working on completing these and running a test bed. We want to ensure that all services you need are working flawlessly when the Hackathon starts. You will receive the documentation long before the start. In order to ensure a level playing field, you will not be able to invoke the simulators or run the services until the start of the Hackathon.
Q7. Why are you asking me to register so early?
At this time, we are gauging interest from developers. We also want to give ourselves time to screen the applicants. Subsequently, we will ask the selected applicants to register - when you will pay the non-refundable fee.
