Within these sessions, we will be talking about Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely life goals that we want to start or have been implementing in our lives. This is a great opportunity to work together as a community, to inspire each other, share ideas, uplift each other when we fall short, encourage each other when we doubt ourselves, and celebrate our wins (no matter how big or small)!

Carmen has been teaching Group Exercises and Dance Classes for over 15 years. After receiving her B.S. Degree in Kinesiology with Emphasis on Athletic Training, she advanced her career in Personal Training. It’s the perfect career path for someone who LOVES body movement.

As a Personal Trainer, her goal is to help her clients achieve their goals! Understanding what S.M.A.R.T goals are is Step #1 to a successful new journey. Once she understands their daily activities, their limitations, short-term, and long term goals, she helps build a routine that best fits her clients goals. While on their journey, she helps her clients stay on track and make suggestions when adjustments are needed.

As a Group Fitness and Dance Instructor, her love for movement has led her to study different dance disciplines such as: Tahitian, Hula, Afro-Brazilian, Afro-Haitian, Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and her current love … SAMBA! With samba, she has traveled to Brazil and trained (and still trains) with some of the best Samba Teachers in Rio de Janeiro.
