The Eco-Institute at Pickards Mountain is an Earth Sanctuary and Learning Community dedicated to Healing the Human-Earth Relationship. Our educational farm and regenerative sustainability learning center reside on 38 acres in the Piedmont of North Carolina, eight miles west of Chapel Hill.

Session 5 of the Permaculture Foundations Certification Series

 Small-Scale Farming Techniques April 23rd, 2016, 9:30am-4:30pm 
Students will gain a broad understanding of the many aspects of managing a small farm and homestead. We will practice tool handling, planting, and growing soil techniques. Students have the opportunity to embark on the 2016 Piedmont Farm Tour.
For lunch: please bring fixins to share and add to rice & beans "monk bowls".

Registration for the entire Permaculture Foundations Series is $540 + fees.
