A workshop for the VCSO's to co-design the London Borough of Tower Hamlets new Small Grants Programme!

<h3>What is the purpose? </h3><p>The council is launching its new Small Grants Programme in November 2023. We are organising a workshop for the voluntary community sector organisations to help co-design the grants process to ensure it meets the needs of the residents, the voluntary and community sector and the council.</p><h3>What will happen in the workshop?</h3><p>In the workshop participants will take part in small group discussions to come up with ideas on how best to:</p><p>•	Promoting the Small Grants so the VCS is aware of them</p><p>•	Providing all the information the VCS need to apply</p><p>•	Creating an easy to use and accessible application form</p><p>•	Inform groups on whether or not they’ve been successful </p><p>•	How to monitor grants so the council gets the information it needs and it is not too burdensome for the VCS</p><p>Following the meeting the Council will develop a plan for the Small Grants application process and inform the participants of this workshop on how their ideas have been used.</p><h3>Who is the workshop for?</h3><p>The workshop is for voluntary and community sector organisations who:</p><p>•	Operate in Tower Hamlets</p><p>•	Have an income of under £150,000 per annum </p><p>We hope that a diverse range of groups attend from different areas of the borough and who work with all sections of the community.</p><h3>What will be provided?</h3><p>On top of the opportunity to have your say in shaping the new Small Grants Process, we will be providing refreshments and lunch for those attending.</p><p>If you have accessibility needs that we need to consider, please inform us ahead of the event by emailing us on vcs@towerhamlets.gov.uk. </p><h3>For more details, please email vcs@towerhamlets.gov.uk</h3>
