Through presentations and accompanying tastings, this event will enlighten guests about the critical cultural significance of small, traditional artisanal production within agave spirits. Their economic viability helps maintain opportunities in spirits-producing zones and anchors integrity in the mezcal industry. Presenters include Omhar Acuña of Los Cantiles 1905 Bacanora, Félix Hernández Monterrosa of Agua del Sol, Luis Loya of Lamata, and Miguel Partida of Chacolo. Marissa Gatta of Westbound Bottle Shop will be on hand to take bottle purchase orders.
