About this event

  • 3 hours

On Monday, April 29, from 5-8 pm, join Slow Food Atlanta for our 2024 Annual Meeting at Southern National! At this celebratory evening together, you’ll vote on programming and your chapter’s board slate, win raffle prizes, and enjoy the best potluck ever. Plus, we’ll announce and award our 2024 Snail of Approval cohort! Our generous host will also contribute delicious dishes and staff a cash bar.

All the proceeds from this event support Slow Food Atlanta programming, including the Snail of Approval recognition program and Snail of Support, our new grantmaking initiative. Proceeds also support our ability to always offer a pay-what-you-can option to all events, and fair compensation for our hosts.

What you need to know

  • This event is open to Slow Food members and non-members. Member tickets are $10 per person, and non-member tickets are $15 per person.
  • Each attendee will receive one raffle ticket and can purchase additional.
  • Please bring a Slow Food-themed dish to this potluck to share (enough for 10-12 people). It can be a dish that celebrates your food heritage, a dish using ingredients from local growers, a dish that makes you feel good, etc. We can't wait to see what you create!

About Slow Food Atlanta

Slow Food Atlanta is the local chapter of a global, grassroots movement that celebrates good, clean, and fair food for all in our community. With thousands of members around the world, we believe that food is tied to many other aspects of life, including culture, politics, agriculture and the environment. Through our food choices, we can collectively influence how food is cultivated, produced, and distributed, and change the world as a result.
