How many bags does it take to make 1 mat and who is in charge of this project?

Are you still collecting bags?

We are not in need of bags at this time. We have a storage room stacked to the ceiling with bags of all sizes and all colors.We will collect bags again soon so keep your bags until we have a bag collection campaign.

How can I help on a regular basis?

In addition to the special scheduled events we meet 2 times a week at Dalraida Global Methodist Church on Atlanta Highway. We meet 10:00-12:00 every Tuesday and Thursday. Please join us!

What can I do to help?

There are several steps involved in weaving the mats. 1. Straighten and flatten bags. 2. Cut the bags 3. Loop the bags. 4. Weave the bags on our looms. On April 6 we will be doing steps 1-3. Karla will give detailed instructions for each step. The greatest need is step 1.
