Join us for Slate Day, a live podcast experience produced in connection with the Texas Tribune Festival. This full-day affair features a lineup of Slate’s bold, curious, and politically-minded shows with exciting appearances from key figures at the forefront of culture and politics.
9:00 a.m. El Gabfest and new Trumpcast host León Krauze in conversation with Antonio Garza, former U.S. Ambassador to Mexico and Roberta Jacobson, former U.S. Ambassador to Mexico. This conversation is in English. 
10:30 a.m. Political Gabfest with Emily Bazelon, John Dickerson, and David Plotz with special guest DeRay McKesson, civil rights activist and organizer
1:00 p.m. Amicus with Dahlia Lithwick in conversation on SCOTUS with Angela Onwuachi-Willig, Dean and professor of law at Boston University, Cristina Rodríguez, professor of law at Yale University, Stephen Vladeck, professor of law at the University of Texas, and Adam White, director of the Center for the Study of Administration at George Mason University
2:30 p.m. The Gist with Mike Pesca and special guest Neal Katyal, lawyer and professor of national security law at Georgetown University, Dr. Jennifer R. Mercieca, political historian and professor at Texas A&M Austin, and Paul Reiser, actor and comedian. 
4:00 p.m. Slate Day Happy Hour. Meet Slate's podcasters and fellow fans at a special happy hour. Refreshments are included with the purchase of a happy hour ticket.
6:00 p.m. Trumpcast with Jamelle Bouie, Virginia Heffernan, and Jacob Weisberg in conversation with Ana Marie Cox, political columnist and culture critic and Ashley Parker, journalist and White House reporter at The Washington Post
