What happens if a speed dating event doesn't have the correct number of attendees?

Partner Up Hawai‘i strives to create a fun and meaningful experience for all attendees. However, we cannot guarantee an equal number of men and women at each event, as attendance is subject to individual sign-ups. Events may be cancelled or rescheduled if minimum participation is not met

Arrive fresh and clean, bring a fresh change of clothes if you're coming from work. Wear something that will give off a good first impression (color pops, fun shoes, fresh haircut, etc.) It's not prom but let's see some effort.

How do I prepare mentally?

Take some deep breaths and remember that this is a low pressure, fun event to practice your dating skills. Look at it as meeting potential new friends. We encourage all of our members and clients to start first by building a healthy friendship as a foundation to any relationship.

What do I need to bring?

You will need a smartphone to use for the speed dating rounds. Bring a good attitude, an open mind and a friendly smile.
