We're getting together again on August 29th for great talks and time with the friendly developers of the Slack community. We'll have talks from VictorOps about how they turned their app from a custom integration to a full-blown Slack app; a session from PM Liza Gurtin on app discovery; and some great lightning talks from the community. As always, there will be plenty of time for socializing and mingling.
Attendance is limited, so RSVP today and please release your ticket if you discover you are unable to attend the event.

Getting started with Steno

<A HREF="https://github.com/slackapi/steno" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Steno</A> is a new tool for recording and replaying HTTP requests and responses, to and from the Slack Platform, in order to generate testing fixtues for a Slack App. We'll walk through how to use Steno and chat about the future of the tool.

VictorOps and Slack: From Custom Integration to Slack Application

We'll review the original VictorOps/Slack custom integration and the new VictorOps/Slack application that allows you to work in either platform without any information loss. We'll cover the major differences, benefits, and improvements in the new app; how VictorOps worked with the Slack team to plan out the application into multiple stages, gather early feedback and get great results; and what the future looks like for upcoming iterations of this application.
