Have you heard? There’s a new way to build apps and bots for Slack. Built with simplicity and scalability in mind, the Events API allows you to respond to activity as it happens via HTTP. We’ll explore Slack’s new Events API and tour using it with the Web API to make simple event-driven apps. 
After hearing about the Events API from Slack’s Developer Relations team, we’ll turn the mic over to you for some Slack and Tell!
Stick around to show off your projects, ask questions, and share your Slack development stories.

 You’ll have 5 mins to show us what you’ve got. We’ll give you a one minute warning to help you know when to wrap up. Talks on an interesting technical challenge, lessons learned while working with the Slack API’s and technically-minded project demos are typically the best received. While product pitches are great, our community is developer-focused so keeping topics relevant to this audience will help your talk be better received.
