SKIMO RACE LEAGUE

Join us for four exciting weeks of ski mountaineering (skimo) races under the lights — December 17, January 14, January 21, and February 18.
Skimo combines the endurance of uphill touring with the skill of technical downhill skiing. This friendly, community-based race series is a great way to sharpen your fitness, improve your transitions, and connect with fellow athletes ahead of the Whitefish Whiteout on January 31. Each week will feature a fresh course layout.

Online pre-registration is required and closes at 4:00 PM on race day— no exceptions. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the online waiver .

Race all four Skimo League events and receive a $20 refund on your Whitefish Whiteout registration!!

SCHEDULE

5:00 PM - 5:50 PM Check In at Events
Mandatory. Pick up your bib and ask any questions before the race. 3915 Big Mountain Road (Events Office).

6:10 PM - 6:20 PM Competitors Meeting
Mandatory. Located at race start just before the start of the race. Cover all course rules and answer any questions.

6:20 PM - 8:00 PM Racing
A different course each week. There is a cutoff time of 7:15, where each racer must have started their final lap in their respective division. Choose you number of laps wisely!

8:00 PM - 8:30 PM Awards at the Bierstube
Recognize division winners and a small raffle for all.

Want to volunteer? - We do not need volunteers for the Skimo League, but we welcome them for our headline event, the Whitefish Whiteout! Volunteers receive a lift ticket, raffle entry, and plenty of high fives. Sign up via our volunteer page.
