Additionally, this program will provide a structured Securities Registrations and Insurance Licensing program to assist interns with obtaining necessary licensure to work in the Financial Services industry. The desired outcome of the SkillBridge program is for the intern to complete the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam, develop knowledge about the financial services industry and what it takes to be successful as a Financial Advisor. Depending on the length of the internship that is approved by the intern’s command, the Series 6, Series 63, Series 65, and state Life/Health exams study materials and testing opportunities can be made available to the intern. Upon completion of the internship, the intern will have an opportunity to join First Command as a Fast Start Advisor, apply for other positions within First Command’s corporate office, or look for opportunities outside of the organization.
