FREE tween and teen class. Join one of our talented SoCo Art Labs artists, Susan Drayton, for a hands-on sketching class focused on the fundamentals of drawing using just three simple tools: pencils, erasers, and an understanding of the five tone values.
This class is perfect for beginners and developing artists looking to strengthen their drawing skills and build confidence. Participants will learn how to create depth, contrast, and form by exploring light and shadow — all while keeping the process approachable and fun.

• How to sketch using pencils and erasers effectively
• An introduction to the five tone values and how they work together
• Techniques for adding dimension and shading to your drawings
• Tips to improve observation and overall sketching skills
👩🎨 Who it’s for:
Ages 10 and up — great for tweens and teens alike. No prior drawing experience required. Parents must remain with their children the entire time.
