About this event

Registration is required for this program as space is limited.

Baltimore-based architect Jerome Gray will lead a sketching workshop exploring different sketch media and methods. Jerome Gray is a founding member of Baltimore SketchWorks, a group of local architects who use sketching to advocate for the city's architectural heritage and future. He curates the Instagram feed @jcgarch, which exposes often untold building histories with architectural sketches.

The workshop will provide beginners and the more experienced with tools to use sketching and historic research resources to understand how buildings and places are designed, methods of documenting histories on online encyclopedias and social media, and to just enjoy creating art!

Organized by

We serve the residents of Baltimore with locations throughout the city, and the residents of Maryland as the State Library Resource Center.
