Skating Fundamentals Workshop

Welcome, skaters of all ages! Come to learn or just have fun at the rink, and enjoy pizza and refreshments. The cost includes admission, skate rental, pizza and soda. Parents of youths can attend without participating for free (but bring your own food or drink). The workshop includes skating safety and etiquette, skate care, and forward and backward skating techniques including crossovers, slaloms, spread eagles, stepovers, mohawks, swizzles, basic spins and hops and more! This event is hosted by the High Desert Venture Crew 5679 and held at the High Desert's own skating rink, Holiday Skating Center.
