Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, a play written by Richard Alfieri (May 17-26, 2024).
Lily, an aging but still formidable retiree, hires Michael, an acerbic dance instructor, to give her dance lessons in her Florida condo. Antagonism between the two gives way to profound compatibility as they swing dance, tango, foxtrot, waltz, salsa, and cha-cha, while sharing barbs, secrets, and intimacies along with the dance steps.
Carisma Bishop directs the cast of Charlie O’Connor and Michelle Dizon, with interlude dancing by Edwin Rosario and Patricia Scott, and choreography by Charlie O’Connor.
There are six performances over two weekends of this play at CCT: May 17-18 and 24-25, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM, and two Sunday matinees at 4 PM on May 19 & 26, 2024.
This play is not recommended for children under age 13. Adult content for mature audiences only.
