Sisters Who Follow the Yam in Tulsa is a support group that grew out of the collective, Sober Black Girls Club. SWFTY in Tulsa provides a safe and nurturing environment for girls and women seeking sobriety and self-recovery support. Our mission is to create a community that uplifts, inspires, and empowers.

Whether you're struggling with substances, seeking to strengthen your relationship with yourself, or looking to connect with like-minded people, Sisters Who Follow the Yam in Tulsa is here for you! Join us and discover the power of sisterhood on your journey toward a happier, healthier life.

Sisters Who Follow the Yam in Tulsa welcomes girls, women, femmes and non-binary folks of color in recovery of all sorts (i.e., substances, food, people pleasing, etc.).

To attend our upcoming meetUp, you must agree to the following:
- To show up to the event 100% alcohol and drug free. There is zero tolerance for attending any SWFTY in Tulsa event under the influence of any recreational substances.- To respect all members’ names, pronouns, and accessibility needs.
- To be mindful of language and glorification around sex, abuse, substance use, and addiction.
- To apologize, correct, and move forward if a mistake is made.
