Back in 2019 SPM produced the very first Sisters of Soul concert.The concept behind the production was to shine a spotlight on female artists singing original songs with an awesome band backing them. The SPM crew based the first concert "Sisters Of Soul: Funky Divas" on the album title by EnVogue, (who happen to be Ant Boogie's favorite female group of all time).
Part of the money raised from the show went to charity, supporting the fight against domestic abuse towards women, men and children.The first production included Mireya McAfee-McCardell Amanda Davis Dannie Walker @Schezelle Christina Denae and Cicely O'kainThe production was a massive success! That year, it was the second most successful event at High Volume Music Live!!!
To build on the momentum of the success of the first one SPM immediately started working on Sisters of Soul: Born To Sing which was to feature Brendalynn Mckinney Giavanni Dené An'tick Von Morphxing Sheleah Monea and Tameka Wright.Unfortunately, the pandemic came along and wiped out plans for a second show..However, 2 years later, 2022 we were back on track, although the show was scheduled earlier in the year, (July), it was another success. Hosted by Jennifer Winters, the show featured Andrea Joi Angie Denise Gooden Mireya McAfee-McCardell and Angelica Rodriguez aka Jelz..
This year's featured artists include back to the set Angela Gooden, 1st time on the SOS concert The Voice of Erica, Fast rising star Takeshia Chapple and the very amazing, beautiful vocalist Gailanita Penn.
