Will I learn how to sew?

While you won't be a full seamstress, you'll have fun in this workshop and walk away with a nice item made during the workshop. Sample items include wine bags, drawstring backpacks, pillow covers and more.

What is the age range allowed to participate?

We accept children of all ages for our sewing workshops, however for the sip and sew evening in-person sessions, we recommend adults over 21.

Do you offer full sewing classes?

Yes, feel free to sign up for our 4-part "Learn to Sew" series.

Question 4

Do you accept fabric donations?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we accept donations of clean clothes, accessories and fabric at our in-person shop, located at 115 Razades Way, Suite 104, Charlotte, NC 28206. We are open from Wednesday - Saturday 12 pm - 6 pm.

What else do you offer?

Yes, we accept applications on a rolling basis for the following positions. 1) Board members; 2) Sewing instructors; 3) In person and virtual volunteers 4) Student interns    5) Retail boutique staff             Check out the "get involved" page of springclean.org for details.
