Welcome to the Sip & Create Candle-Making Workshop at The Candle Bar! Join us for a fun and creative evening. Grab a drink, relax, and unleash your inner artist as you learn the art of making your own candles. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process, from choosing scents to pouring the wax. Take home your unique creation and impress your friends and family with your new skills. Frequently asked questions

What does the cost include?

The cost of a reservation includes a seat at the table, everything you need to make 1 custom candle and a drink ticket to be used at the bar! Additional drink tickets can be purchased for discounted drinks from the bar.

Can I take my candle home with me after pouring?

Our candles require at least 90 minutes to harden after pouring. You can pick them up later that day (during open business hours), or we can ship them to you for $12 (Continental US Only)! For the best burn possible, your candle should be allowed to cure for AT LEAST 7 DAYS before burning it.

What is your cancellation policy?

We get it, life happens. If you request a cancellation at least 24 hours before the time of your pouring, we'll issue you a refund! Please use our self-service portal to request a cancellation.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

BYOB is not permitted at our location. Beer, wine, and select mixed drinks are available for sale on-site at The Sailor and the Dock bar. Discounted drink tickets are also available for workshop participants.

Can I bring food?

We don't allow outside food in our public workshops. Outside food is allowed during private events. We also have charcuterie boards available for purchase during workshop events.

Will you hold my candle until I can pick it up?

Yes! We can hold your candle until you can pick it up, up to 30 days. After 30 days, we donate remaining candles to a local charity! If you can't pick it up within 30 days, we're happy to ship it to you for $12! Just contact us via email at contact@thecandlebarok.com

Can I buy empty vessels or fragrance oils from you?

Empty vessels can be purchased at our location. We do not sell fragrance oils at this time.
