Sip Bourbon Like a Pro

You’re no stranger to sipping bourbon, but are you aware of the nuances in your glass? Learn how to taste through bourbons like a true savant with Jeptha Creed’s Master Distiller - Joyce Nethery.

In this class, you’ll be guided through the steps it takes to truly appreciate Bourbon for all its complexity. Joyce will introduce you to methods of examining specific colors, smells, and flavor notes of Bourbon. You’ll then have a chance to put your abilities to the test with a blind tasting!

In the blind tasting you will be given unmarked samples of Jeptha Creed Bourbon, and you will have to use your newly found skills to identify each sample. You’ll take notes on each of the anonymous samples and detail your analysis. When you feel confident that you’ve correctly identified the Bourbons, you’ll have a chance to explain your reasoning and see if you’re now a Jeptha Creed Bourbon tasting professional!

Prizes will be awarded to those who have mastered the art of analyzing a pour. A welcome cocktail and light bites will also be provided and we’ll have an opportunity for Q&A.
