Christ Our Redeemer in partnership w/other churches in the Valley

Jesus was single. (How about that?!) He wasn't waiting around to get married. He didn't live a marginalized life. He was full of life and purpose and community. Now THAT's a message that single people need to hear. If we are single at this season in our lives, then we need to embrace it and make our days count rather than counting the days. Too often the Church has not know what to do with Singles other than encourage them to get married (they probably wouldn't have hired the Apostle Paul!). So this day-long event will be a time of calling us back to FOCUS on a renewed sense of Calling, a richer experience of Community and rekindled vision for the Kingdom of God which, after all, is what we are all supposed to be seeking first. 
Our Speaker is C.J. Goeller on staff with InterVarsity at JMU for 20+ years. Photography, woodworking, auto repair, disc golf, racquetball and bourbon serve as a backdrop to a life in which he is "happily single" and committed to maturing himself and others in Christ.
