Single Professionals Event at the Journeyman in Valparaiso~Ages 40's & 50's

Join us for a fun evening of low pressure networking with other area singles (ages 40's & 50's) at the Journeyman Distillery (American Factory) in Valparaiso. Whether you meet that special someone, a new friend or a professional contact, it's all a win.

Before the event:

~Email Whouservices@gmail.com if you cannot make it. We try to balance our male to female participant numbers, so as a courtesy, please let us know if you have a last minute conflict that prevents you from attending.

When you arrive (6:45-7:00 at the Journeyman):

• Enter the Journeyman and ask the hostess to guide you to the Brew Pub where we will greet you.
• Collect a name tag and locate your assigned table.
• Purchase a beverage at the bar (cash bar) and begin mingling with participants as you begin our first activity.
• Elizabeth will send out a Google Contact List Document at the start of the evening. If you have a moment, add your preferred contact information and photo so event participants can reach out to you right after the event. Volunteers will be available to help you with this if needed.
• We will formally begin the event at 7:00

Introduction (Elizabeth Marshall ~ CEO of WhoU)

• Speed-dating rounds (4-5 minutes) with participants
• Help us ensure that there is time to meet everyone by transitioning quickly when prompted. There will be more time to continue that great conversation you started during the after party.
• If numbers are not perfectly balanced due to a participant no-show, there may be a speed- dating round where you have the opportunity to order a drink or use the rest-room.
• There will be a short group activity at the end of the event if time allows.
• At the end of the event, there will be a raffle to win a ticket to our one of our next events in Valparaiso or South Bend.
• Stick around and mingle after the event as late as you wish! There is a beautiful patio & extensive menu to enjoy.

• What's included: Event registration, access to the private WhoU.know Facebook community page where you can follow up and message new friends and potential romantic connections and automatic entry into our event raffle.

*Refunds: We offer refunds if the event is canceled (minus eventbrite fees). We will inform participants by email the day before the event if cancellation is necessary.

*Notes about ticket pricing and registration: Early registration helps us to plan and know that we have enough and a balanced group of participants, send you updates and helpful information.

$25 General Admission until 6/25 at 2pm
