This beginning-level workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to learn to play a metal or crystal singing bowl. Learn about the different types of bowls and basic playing techniques and get plenty of time to practice playing.


Workshop includes:

  • Hands-on play time with crystal and metal singing bowls.
  • How to choose the best bowl(s) to start with.
  • All about crystal and metal (Himalayan) singing bowls.
  • The origin and history of all singing bowls.
  • Effective techniques for playing crystal and metal singing bowls.
  • The differences between types of crystal singing bowls (gemstone, frosted, and clear).
  • What differentiates quality in crystal singing bowls.
  • About mallets and which are best to use.
  • Discounts on crystal singing bowls.

Participants will be guided through effective playing methods for crystal bowls, which can be used for meditation, personal enjoyment, or other self-wellness practices. The workshop may end with a sound bath meditation, as timing permits.

No, and if you don't have them it's best to wait until you attend as we will cover how to choose your bowls. Also - you will get special discounts on crystal singing bowls at the workshop.

Will I learn how to play sound baths in this workshop?

This workshop covers how to play crystal and metal singing bowls - not how to play sound baths. If you're looking to play sound baths, you will want to take our Group Soundbath Player™ Certification Course instead. Workshop attendees are offered a discount on this course.

Is there parking?

What is your refund policy?

How many people will be in the workshop?

There will be a maximum of 10 people in this workshop.

Will I be able to play a singing bowl for other people after this workshop?

Once you learn how to play a singing bowl, you can play for yourself or others. You won’t learn how to create a sound bath experience, but you will be able to play a bowl.

I already have singing bowls. Can I bring my bowls to play?

No, please leave your singing bowls at home. You will be playing our bowls in the workshop.
