About this event

During our innovative take on the holiday of Shavuot, experience a night of dairy, debate, and personal discovery.

Start the night with a wine and cheese tasting led by Cheesemonster DC. The main event features candid, autobiographical stories from Sixth & I’ers exploring unexpected takes on Shavuot’s themes of anticipation, revelation, and conversion. Following, eat your fill of cheesecake and Jeni’s ice cream and hang out with four DC rabbis who work with Jews in their 20s and 30s. They’ll discuss and debate their most challenging Jewish texts and ideas and take your questions.

7:00 pm – Wine & Cheese Pairing Class with Cheesemonster DC (only 100 spaces available, must be 21+)

8:30 pm – Sinai Slam Storytelling Event

10:00 pm – Dessert and teaching led by Rabbi Ilana Zietman of GatherDC, Rabbi Eliana Fischel of Washington Hebrew Congregation, Rabbi Josh Beraha of Temple Micah, and Rabbi Aaron Potek of Sixth & I

Purchasing a ticket to the Wine & Cheese Pairing Class will grant you access to all events on Tuesday night, no need to purchase a second ticket.
